A horse related day event - with a procession and a rather long single track drive from the main road!
RAYNET provide comms for the medical personnel and control the movement of traffic entering and
leaving the park. The traffic management is a continual process with very little time not busy, with
traffic directing and radio work a continual process. It makes for a long busy day but is usually very
enjoyable! Several comments were made on how well RAYNET performed.

Only two people who obviously dont ever take notice of any form of signals slightly spoilt the day,
one of them was quite abusive, seem to remember him from last year! -
look forward very much to next year!


Excellent job by Jean - using PMR to run a marshal point, and to Martin - who was dropped in
to RAYNET somewhat beyond the deep end! Incidentally the operator with flat batteries last year
was mentioned by an irate member of the public when asked to wait, 'when you do something right -
nobody notices, when you do something wrong - nobody forgets'.....
