RAYNET is a volunteer organisation that provides emergency
communications in the event of emergencies to user services,
these are the main emergency services, Red Cross, and
St Johns Ambulance along with local and national government.
In addition to providing emergency 24/7 cover -
RAYNET personnel use various events as training events,
where RAYNET operators practise their skills and in return
provide a useful service to the event organisers.

All RAYNET Personnel are fully insured and part of an
approved national organisation.

Note: Although RAYNET is a charity providing volunteer services a donation is
appreciated and allows the purchase of new equipment etc. Members provide their
own time, equipment and transport for events at their own cost.
